Without a doubt, most of us know all too well how heavy the atmosphere around us has felt, which has heightened the anxiety for so many people.
Taking a few deep breaths in those heart racing moments, meditating, going for a walk, taking a nap, or finding a way to reduce stress levels all helps keep our mind and body happy. BUT how about the foods we consume? YES! I'm not talking about binge snacking as a way of "food therapy"- (altho I love me some BBQ kettle chips) ...instead I thought it would be great to recap 3 recipes that can HELP reduce our anxiety levels.
All credit on these recipes goes to the featured curators listed on The Zoe Report. I'm sharing the snapshots here cuz I loved reading this article & seeing the yummy foods that can help take the edge off one bite at a time.
Between all the different ways we can practice self-care, especially during turbulent times, foods and movement can play a major role in helping our gut health AND mental health.
Sending peace, love and grace! I hope one of these recipes sparks joy for you.
As we say in Farsi, "nooshi jaan" - aka bon apetite :)
