Hi sweet friends!
I get it....this beautifully chaotic world of ours can feel magical and also messy all at the same time. From household responsibilities, to commitment with friends & relatives, to events, to emotionally processing information, to running errands, to projects, to maintaining relationships, to rending to our OWN needs...and more...we house a lot of thoughts in our mind and it often feels like our "plate is full."

A = Automate. What on this list can you set up on a recurring basis?
Ex: carpool, date night, babysitter, mow the lawn, pay a bill, call a relative, etc.
D = Delegate. What items on this list can you delegate to someone else?
Ex: Laundry folding goes to the oldest child, Organizing goes to TC Mobile Mommy, Washing the Dishes goes to the spouse, Planning the family reunion goes to the Cousin, etc.
E= Eliminate. What items on this list can you cross off and eliminate that does not bring you joy, causes overwhelm, is not the best time/season to prioritize, or may cost extra money/time?
Ex: repairing the shed, organizing the garage, replacing the trim, sorting through family photos.
Tips: Starting with a task that takes the shortest amount of time helps knock out the projects & fills your cup! OR starting with the tasks that bring you the MOST joy is a great way to work through your To-Do list. Of course, time sensitive tasks are also ones to consider sooner than later to eliminate anxiety or stress later on.
The "Success Jar" is my way of doing the Ta-Da list.
Any time I knock out a task or have a proud moment, I write it down on a slip of paper and put it in my success jar! Then at the end of the year, or sometimes every month, I'll take out the slips and read through all the awesome things I did!! I often forget how many small amazing moments I had, or the big incredible accomplishments I successfully did (or didn't succeed in but attempted).
If companies can do a "year in review" for their employees, why wouldn't we take some time to recognize OURSELVES? This is especially helpful if working through mental obstacles, setting high expectations for a project with multiple steps, if you experience low-points in your life, if you're wanting to create this for other household members, or if you want a more visual way of seeing you truly wonderful you are and how all you do has an impact.
